Your Role: What You’ll Be Doing

As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and welcoming arrival, stay, and departure experience. Your daily duties will include:

  • Greeting all guests with a friendly, professional, and prompt manner.

  • Checking guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information and payment processing.

  • Providing guests with information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.

  • Handling cash, credit, and other payment transactions following hotel procedures.

  • Managing guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations in person and over the phone.

  • Upselling rooms and amenities to enhance guest experience and support revenue growth.

  • Responding to guest requests and complaints with a solution-focused mindset and service recovery strategies.

  • Issuing room keys and managing safe deposit boxes with care and security.

  • Communicating important information to management and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.

  • Supporting concierge services, providing directions, making recommendations, and arranging transport or reservations as needed.

  • Completing administrative duties such as preparing reports, shift checklists, and bank deposits.

  • Promoting a team environment through clear communication and a positive attitude.

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking a professional and personable individual who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment:

  • Minimum one year of front desk or guest services experience, preferably in a hotel setting.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality is an asset.

  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Proficient with computers and familiar with hotel property management systems (PMS).

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
