Job Overview
As a Sales Coordinator, you will provide essential clerical and administrative support to the Sales Department while coordinating group bookings, contracts, and reservations. Your work will ensure that all sales details are accurate and that our teams are fully prepared to deliver seamless service to clients and guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle all administrative tasks for the Sales Office, including reports and office supply ordering.

  • Assist sales managers with group and corporate room requirements.

  • Set up and maintain group profiles in CI & Lightspeed; manage billing, VIP details, and room assignments.

  • Ensure accurate posting of Bonvoy points and group revenue in a timely manner.

  • Finalize and submit weekly group reports to the front desk and DOSM.

  • Monitor group pick-up and communicate risks or changes to the Sales team.

  • Prepare sales kits, collateral, and client packages; maintain marketing supplies.

  • Coordinate with other departments for VIP amenities, special requests, and contractual needs.

  • Support sales events such as blitzes, tradeshows, and client functions.

  • Respond to walk-in or phone inquiries and direct them to the appropriate sales manager.

  • Assist with maintaining and distributing calendars, flyers, and sales collateral.

  • Achieve sales and revenue goals as assigned by the DOSM.

  • Follow all health and safety procedures and report concerns promptly.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.

  • Experience: At least 1 year in a sales office or related field.

  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills; attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Typing speed of 50 wpm and proficiency with PC software

    • Ability to carry/lift up to 25 pounds

    • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

    • Strong teamwork and customer service focus

Health and Safety

  • Follow safe work procedures as outlined in departmental policies.

  • Report all injuries or illnesses to a supervisor immediately.

  • Participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee by raising concerns as needed.
