The Sustainability Committee general members work under the Sustainability Chair, and act as advocates for environmental well-being on behalf of the student body to the Engineering Society by coordinating relevant equity initiatives, reviewing current society practices, and acting as a resource to engineering students. The Sustainability Committee is responsible for helping the Society create sustainable practices within the Engineering Society, make information regarding sustainable practices easily available and marketable to students, and help run events to promote Sustainability.
Ideal applicants are enthusiastic about sustainability, eager to learn, approachable, and collaborative. This is a great opportunity for students who want to grow their event planning skills, share creative ideas, and contribute to meaningful change within the engineering community.
