Job Description

Are you a fourth-year engineering student or in your final year of studies and looking to take the lead on the 123rd Science Formal? As the Communications Chair, you'll play a key role in getting the word out about the year-end event that celebrates our graduating Engineers at Grant Hall.

As the Communications Chair, you'll oversee all aspects of the Science Formal related to student volunteer hours, publications, website, and will be the main point of contact with the Sci '26 engineering year. This position includes oversight of an HR Manager, IT Manager, and a Marketing Manager.

Applicants should possess the following skills/ qualities:

  • Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Dedication to the event
  • Interest in project/people management
  • Time management and organizational skills

This position is open to fourth-year engineering students or engineering students in their final year of studies.
