Job Overview
Hi, I’m Michael Pietrunti, and I’m currently the Senior Director of Visual Merchandising at Mejuri, looking for a Visual Merchandising Manager to join our growing Visual Merchandising team.
As the Visual Merchandising Manager, you will lead Visual Merchandising execution in our East Region while owning Marketing Production across all stores. This role will be crucial to the success of the east region's business and visual merchandising execution. This role will also ensure our seasonal campaigns, signage, and in-store brand storytelling are executed seamlessly. It’s an exciting time to join the Visual Merchandising team as we continue to scale our retail presence and elevate the customer experience through creative, consistent, and operationally excellent execution.
What you'll do
- Lead visual merchandising execution across the East Region to adapt brand directives in-store, ensuring consistency and maximizing fixture productivity.
- Partner with store teams and field leadership to optimize layouts, drive sales, and deliver elevated brand storytelling
- Conduct regular store visits to inspect execution, provide coaching, and support new store openings, remodels, and campaign launches.
- Own print production and in-store signage management for all retail locations, including budget forecasting, campaign planning, and special projects.
- Develop and manage seasonal print order forms to ensure timely rollout of signage and marketing assets.
- Partner with vendors and Creative Ops to review and approve digital proofs for print, windows, and in-store signage, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
- Track deliveries, monitor quality control, and manage resolution of any in-store damages.
- Act as the key point of contact between Retail VM and Marketing Production to align on timelines, deliverables, and creative direction.
- Provide feedback and insights to cross-functional partners to continuously improve campaign execution and store presentation.
- Participate in creative meetings and represent Retail VM in campaign reviews and signage planning.
- Travel will be required throughout Eastern Canada and the United States
Key Performance Indicators:
- Successful execution of visual merchandising standards across East Region stores.
- On-time delivery and installation of seasonal campaigns and in-store signage.
- Accuracy of print production and proof approvals.
- Vendor performance on budget, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Reduction of in-store signage damages and reprints.
- Store feedback and compliance rates on VM execution.
What you'll bring to the team
- 6+ years of visual merchandising experience, with corporate retail and/ or regional responsibility.
- Experience managing marketing production, print production, or in-store signage.
- Strong vendor management and project management skills.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and partnership skills.
- Proven ability to balance creative execution with operational rigour.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect VM execution to business performance.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to travel for store visits and campaign launches.
- Comfortable managing budgets, timelines, and multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience training and coaching store teams in visual merchandising standards.
- A collaborative, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused mindset.
- Experience in Google programs required. Knowledge of Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suites
- A minimum of three weeks vacation, plus personal days and three religious/cultural observance days.
