About the Program
We are building a national Event Marketing Team to support a high-profile Canadian brand. This team blends client-facing responsibilities with hands-on event execution, delivering best-in-class experiences across Canada.
Team members will handle all event operations, execution, and reporting while serving as the bridge between the client and agency. This is a dynamic role requiring flexibility, leadership, and the ability to manage people and logistics across large-scale events both locally and nationally.
Responsibilities
As part of the Event Marketing Team, responsibilities will vary by role (Lead vs. Support), but all team members are expected to:
- Event Operations & Logistics
- Plan, oversee, and execute event setup, service, and tear down.
- Travel extensively within the region and nationally (50%+), with overnight stays.
- Operate and maintain branded vehicles (35-ft box truck, Mercedes Sprinter with trailer, Ford Transit with trailer).
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues when required.
- Support site cleanliness, product preparation, and vehicle organization.
- Client & Program Servicing
- Act as the client/vendor contact on-site when assigned to a Lead role.
- Build and maintain strong client, vendor, and community relationships.
- Manage client requests, updates, and day-of activation needs.
- Provide professional guest interactions that reinforce the brand’s reputation.
- Team Leadership & Support
- Lead and supervise 2–5 team members per event when assigned to a Lead role.
- Train staff to uphold brand standards, recipes, and service expectations.
- Ensure safety, compliance, and consistent brand presence at all activations.
- Act as the escalation point for operational challenges.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Submit event recaps, performance metrics, and expense reports promptly.
- Upload photos, KPI data, and consumer engagement reports.
Compensation
- Baseline Rate: $28/hr
- Role-Based Adjustments: Pay increases are provided at the time of each event depending on the position assigned (e.g., Lead role vs. Support role).
- Tiered Pay Progression: Once the team is fully trained and evaluated, compensation will transition to a tiered pay system based on performance, experience, and leadership responsibilities.
