Principal Responsibilities
  • Clean dishes according to Standards.
  • Cleans and organizes equipment and work area.
  • Control usage of store supplies.
  • Notify Supervisor of damage to or problems with equipment.
  • Control the use of dishwashing equipment, feed detergents and checks temperature controls
  • Safe and effective use of equipment.
  • Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to MSDS.
  • Be fully aware of Fire and Emergency Procedure and your role therein.
  • Follow Chelsea grooming policy. Name Tag must be visible at all times.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.

  • Service given should meet and/or exceed the guest service standards of the Chelsea Hotel.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Answer any guest or employee questions or direct them to someone that can assist them. Ensure complete guest satisfaction.

Process Improvement/ Productivity

  • Open communication with Managers to report challenges or issues.
  • All tasks are to be completed in accordance with the practices and policies of the Chelsea Hotel.

 

ACADEMIC AND WORKING QUALIFICATIONS
Working Experience
 Previous dishwashing or stewarding experience an asset

Soft Skills
 Be able to work effectively on a team.
 Strong work ethic.


Language
 Good command of the English language both written and oral.


Physical Requirements
 Able to stand for long periods of time.
 Able to bend , lift, and push
 Able to work in a humid and warm environment
