What will your typical day look like?
The communications manager will establish, project manager, and drive the Global Generative AI (GenAI) communications agenda for Deloitte. Leveraging the Global Communications team and colleagues around the network, the communications manager will build and drive a GenAI PR and internal communications strategy aligning efforts across the firm.
The communications manager will be a member of the Deloitte Global Communications team, which is a key part of the Deloitte Global Growth organization, and work closely with other areas of Global Growth including brand and marketing as well as the GenAI Strategic Growth Offering (SGO).
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver an integrated GenAI external and internal communications plan targeting various stakeholder groups including Global
- LCSPs and account teams as well as leaders in the Growth organization.
- Lead collection of relevant content across the network to establish and maintain content hub.
- Drive message alignment and streamline communications.
- Write and edit GenAI press releases and other communications with the comms team.
- Coordinate GenAI PR and communications initiatives across the network.
- Manage GenAI SGO leader monthly LinkedIn newsletter drafting and reviews.
- Work with PR team and agency on pitching stories and interviews to media.
Engage across the network:
- Establish communications community with members across the network, leveraging what already exists.
- Collaborate with the network to develop messages and media train key spokespeople on the topic of GenAI.
- Amplify and share messaging from across the business.
- Leverage and collaborate on GenAI storytelling across the firm.
- Feed GenAI client stories, key wins, etc. into firm wide communications, working closely with the Chief Growth Officer Communications Lead.
Work with Subject Matter experts:
- Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the Global GenAI SGO and GenAI leaders across the network on internal and external communications priorities and programs.
- Work closely across Global Growth especially with Marketing, Client Agenda, Brand and Social Media teams on GenAI activities.
- Work closely with the Communications team, leveraging the different skills in the team (PR, internal comms).

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred for senior roles) or relevant work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
- Experience managing communications strategies and campaigns
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong editing and proofreading abilities
- Experience with media relations and crisis communications a plus
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content
- Proficiency in digital communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems a plus
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with senior stakeholders
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities

Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
