Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sr Data Analyst to join our credit cards COE Analytics team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with 1-3 years of experience in data analytics with a passion for data, and good problem-solving skills. You will work closely with other team members to support data-driven decision-making in the credit card domain, helping to uncover crucial business insights.

 

What you'll do:

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze credit card data for credit risk, marketing , fraud BUs etc.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving database systems and data pipelines.
  • Identify data inconsistencies and propose solutions to improve data quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights Create reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI etc
  • Support ad-hoc analysis requests related to customer behavior, product performance etc
  • Document processes and findings clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders 

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for working with data.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data analytics.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with Python or R
  • 1-3 years experience in Financial services (Credit cards preferred)
