Contract & Commercial Oversight

  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance for major enterprise agreements including Microsoft, Oracle, AWS.
  • Oversee operational technology contracts and large-scale managed services organizations.
  • Ensure commercial terms are optimized for value, risk mitigation, and long-term sustainability.
  • Manage contract lifecycle processes, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.

RFP Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end RFP processes for new and renewing vendor engagements, including requirements gathering, evaluation criteria, scoring, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and technical teams to ensure RFPs are comprehensive and aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure diversity and inclusion goals are considered in vendor selection processes.

Performance Management

  • Monitor service levels, risk exposure, and vendor accountability.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance assessments with key vendors.
  •  Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on vendor performance data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with BPMO, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and business units to ensure vendor alignment with business needs.
  • Act as the primary liaison between IT leadership and vendor account teams.
  • Facilitate executive-level vendor escalations and resolution processes.

Technical & Legal Acumen

  • Understand the technical architecture and integration points of enterprise and operational platforms.
  • Interpret and advise on legal terms, data privacy, and compliance obligations in vendor contracts.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes affecting vendor relationships (e.g., data sovereignty, cybersecurity laws).

Innovation & Optimization

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and operational efficiency through vendor partnerships.
  • Stay informed on market trends and emerging technologies to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Promote vendor-enabled innovation through proof-of-concept initiatives and co-development opportunities.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or enterprise contract oversight.
  • Proven success managing large-scale global and enterprise vendor portfolios in both corporate and operational environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
Certifications such as ITIL, CIPS, or Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) are an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience leading RFPs and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise platforms (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, AWS) and large-scale managed services organizations.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance considerations in vendor contracts.
