Purpose
The Senior Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Automation Portfolio within a broader Program or Project Portfolio. This includes designing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that enable data-driven decision-making across key initiatives. The Analyst works closely with Program Managers and Business Leads to gather requirements, develop reporting solutions, and ensure the accuracy and relevance of existing tools.

As a subject matter expert in Power BI Report Builder, the Analyst leads the development of authoritative reporting that supports strategic projects subject to heightened internal and external scrutiny. These initiatives often involve complex data and technology enhancements that span multiple departments, including RBI.

The Analyst’s work contributes to the Bank’s ability to communicate progress and insights to both internal stakeholders (such as executive leadership and the Board) and external audiences, including U.S. federal and state regulatory authorities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Champion a customer-centric culture by deepening client relationships and leveraging the Bank’s broader systems, knowledge, and partnerships.
  • Lead with a client-first mindset, fostering a team environment that prioritizes customer needs and maximizes value through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Collaborate with technology and program managers to align timelines and deliverables, develop business requirement documents, test scripts, and user acceptance testing plans. Ensure risks, issues, and dependencies are identified and addressed, and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, including testing, issue tracking and resolution, and milestone sign-offs to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Create impactful dashboards and presentations tailored to the audience, delivering insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Provide clear and consistent updates on automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness, while adhering to internal project management standards.
  • Operate in alignment with the Bank’s risk culture, ensuring daily activities reflect the organization’s risk appetite and communicating these principles across the team.
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive team environment by implementing strategies that attract, retain, and develop talent. Communicate vision, values, and business strategy while managing succession planning and career development.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Proven expertise as a power user of Power BI and Power BI Report Builder.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and working with unstructured data.
  • Demonstrated ability to import data into Power BI from multiple sources including Excel, SharePoint, SQL, and Access.
  • Solid grasp of OData protocols and their integration with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in SharePoint administration, including setting up subsites and managing access and lists.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Skilled in extracting SharePoint lists into Excel and Power BI for reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with linking data between MS Project and SharePoint.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle is considered an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
