The Global Cash, Collateral, and Intraday Liquidity Management team plays a crucial role in managing the bank's intraday liquidity and analytics, which are vital for the bank's financial stability and regulatory compliance.
The Associate in Intraday Collateral Management plays a pivotal role in supporting the bank’s real-time liquidity and collateral management. This role is part of the Global Cash, Collateral, and Intraday Liquidity Management team reporting to the Associate Director. It is responsible for ensuring the efficient deployment, monitoring, and reporting of intraday collateral across central banks, clearing houses, and internal business lines. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of strategic initiatives, system enhancements, and regulatory compliance efforts.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Participate and support the build of the Bank’s intraday collateral management system, including data sourcing, automation and process optimization.
- Monitor and analyze intraday collateral usage, movements, and positions across various venues and central bank facilities.
- Act as a liaison with external clearing venues and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely collateral data sourcing.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of database architecture and analytics for real-time collateral tracking.
- Maintain and enhance intraday data governance, controls, and operational processes.
- Participate in the formulation of collateral strategy, including stress testing and scenario analysis in collaboration with Risk Management.
- Coordinate with Treasury, Trading Desks, and IT teams to ensure seamless collateral deployment, reporting, and to enhance the Bank’s collateral analytics capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to intraday liquidity and collateral reporting.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance & Business, or STEM fields
- Finance & Business degree needs to be combined with MBA, CFA or FRM is a great asset.
- 3 years of experience in banking or financial services, preferably in liquidity, treasury, or collateral management.
- Strong understanding of financial products, central bank operations, and clearing systems.
- Ability to manage projects, communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, and work cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, VBA, Power BI, and Excel.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to recommend decisions based on ambiguity
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with evolving priorities.
