Could you be the full-time Installation Manager in Toronto, ON, we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in installation and project coordination in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and quality-focused teammates.

You'll play a central role in reducing the carbon footprint of Canada’s busiest public transit system. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., engineering and subcontractors), manage site activities, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of overseeing installation activities and managing subcontractors, but also contribute to process improvements and best practices.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing and organizing site activities, including site facilities, resource planning, and access tools

  • Preparing target price bundles for the Installation scope

  • Conducting subcontractor technical evaluations

  • Delivering and maintaining installation plans, procedures, and Work Method Statements (WMS)

  • Managing the installation work package and monitoring quality, delivery, and performance

  • Leading actions on planning, risks, opportunities, and technical interfaces

  • Coordinating with third parties such as facilities providers and civil work partners

  • Ensuring compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies and standards

  • Contributing to continuous improvement and best practices within the project and product line

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics

  • 10+ years of experience in field activities

  • Certification in Railway Safety (preferred)

  • Certification in Site EHS management (preferred)

  • Strong experience in railway site management

  • Knowledge of railway products and services across various market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M)

  • Cost and planning control experience within site management

  • Hands-on experience in customer relationship management for technical topics

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • Quality-focused, team-oriented, and resilient

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines

  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative projects

  • Utilise our dynamic and inclusive working environment
