Join the cutting-edge intersection of Generative AI and telecommunications as a Junior or Mid-Level AI & Data Architect/Engineer. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement Generative AI solutions that transform telecom operations, enhance customer experiences, and optimize network processes. Your focus will be on deploying foundational Generative AI models and frameworks to address automation, operational efficiency, and predictive analytics in the telecom industry. With hands-on problem-solving and collaboration, you’ll help drive the adoption of AI technologies to address complex industry challenges such as fault detection, network traffic optimization, and semantic communication.

This position is ideal for individuals with a strong technical foundation, a passion for Generative AI, and a solid understanding of the telecom industry, who are eager to drive industry innovation.

 

What you will do:
  • Design and prototype AI models leveraging technologies like large language models (LLMs), multimodal Generative AI, and GenAI frameworks.
  • Develop solutions for telecom-specific challenges such as network planning, predictive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and spectral efficiency optimization.
  • Utilize Generative AI models using structured and unstructured datasets from telecom networks.
  • Optimize AI frameworks for scalability, accuracy, and performance in real-world telecom applications.
  • Build scalable, reliable data pipelines to collect, preprocess, and manage large volumes of data from telecom networks.
  • Engineer data workflows that fuel Generative AI applications for network traffic analysis, semantic communication, and hybrid beamforming.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., telecom engineers, data scientists, and product managers) to identify high-value AI use cases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to customize AI models tailored to specific operational needs, such as 5G Core, OSS/BSS systems, customer support automation, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure AI systems adhere to legal & regulatory policies, including data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR) and algorithm transparency.
  • Use ethical AI frameworks to mitigate risks and bias in AI-driven systems.
  • Evaluate deployed AI systems, monitoring their performance, scalability, and impact on network operations.
  • Continuously refine the AI models to adapt to new data inputs and emerging telecom challenges.
The skills you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Generative AI frameworks, LLMs, and tools such as GPT-based models, Anthropic Claude, Amazon Titan, or equivalent models 
  • Strong capabilities in Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch with expertise in machine learning and deep learning techniques 
  • Familiarity with data pipelines and processing large-scale structured and unstructured datasets 
  • Understanding of OSS/BSS, 5G networks, and telecom-specific AI applications such as channel modeling, fault detection, and customer service automation 
  • Insight into applying AI for semantic communication, network optimization, and resource allocation
  • Capacity to translate complex business problems into AI-driven solutions using creative approaches and advanced AI methodologies

The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target.
