The work you do will impact beauty at Sephora, as you help ensure our team members have access to outstanding benefits and seamless support. You’ll manage essential programs that keep our employees cared for, united in beauty, and supported by a passionate group of HR professionals and leaders who value the well-being of every member of our community.

 

What You’ll Do:

Benefits administration

  • Manage day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including group health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, EFAP, retirement plans, and other offerings
  • Respond to employee benefit inquiries and concerns
  • Troubleshoot issues between employees, Benefits, Management, Payroll, LOA inbox, and outside vendors to resolve concerns and investigate discrepancies
  • Ensure employee benefits records and enrollment data maintained by third-party administrators are accurate
  • Reconcile with third-party administrators and payroll team to verify payroll deductions
  • Facilitate benefit enrollment, helping employees understand plan options, coverages, employer contributions, employee premiums, and enrollment deadlines

Leave of Absence Management

  • Disability Case Management: Oversee the disability and accommodation claim lifecycle, from initial assessment to resolution and return-to-work, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements
  • Leave Guidance: Provide expert advice and recommendations to employees and management on disability claims, accommodations, and return-to-work plans
  • Employee Support: Serve as primary contact for employees on sick leave or long-term disability, offering support and information throughout the accommodation and claim process
  • Documentation: Accurately and confidentially maintain disability case records, correspondence, and supporting documentation in compliance with policies and legal requirements
  • Communication & Collaboration: Work with HR, management, benefit providers, and external vendors to facilitate claims and accommodations and communicate essential case information to management as needed
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present detailed reports on disability claims, trends, and outcomes to management and HR, providing data-driven recommendations for policy and procedural improvements
  • Training & Wellness: Educate and train employees and management on disability management and accommodation policies and best practices
  • Projects: Develop and implement standardized tools, templates, and processes to formalize and streamline Disability Management

Educating employees about benefits programs

  • Coach and guide HR Business Partners, Managers, Executives, and Employees on benefit offerings
  • Support delivery and implementation of benefits and wellness initiatives or changes

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • A relevant degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or Business Administration, with a certified Compensation and/or Benefits Professional (CCP/CBP) designation considered an asset
  • 5+ years of post-university experience, including a minimum of 3 years administering Group Benefits, Retirement plans, and managing LOA Processes
