Job Description
This is a hybrid position, with three days a week based in our Toronto office and two days working remotely.

As our Associate Solutions Manager Co-op, you will design and build Proof of Concept solutions from scratch for our clients to demonstrate how the Vena platform can help Finance teams be more efficient. You will collaborate with the Solutions Consultants to learn about challenges our prospects have and help them understand how Vena can solve these challenges and add value to their business.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Work with presales Solutions Consultants to deconstruct a client/prospect business process and define the strategy for delivering a meaningful Proof of Concept solution (POC)
  • Build POCs that are tailored to solving the prospects’ pain points and ensure that all success criteria are delivered, and product differentiators included
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to understand/design/develop new product features and incorporate into POC solutions
  • Build models for various vertical industries including, but not limited to: Professional Sports teams, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Real Estate.
  • Develop subject matter expertisein CPM
  • Create and maintain any required POC solution design and architecture documentation

We'd Love to See

  • Currently pursuing a post-secondary education in any Engineering discipline, Accounting, or Commerce/Finance and/or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of any financial process (i.e. budgeting, forecasting, month end close, financial reporting, financial consolidation)
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create complex formulas, macros and sophisticated formatting
  • Knowledge of Relational databases and/or multi-dimensional database cubes
  • Understanding of coding fundamentals to apply to product and solution innovation
  • Ability to gather and understand the client requirements, leveraging a consultative approach, and translating those requirements into an effective POC
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of various vertical industries
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-learner, with sense of initiative, and perseverance to deliver high quality work
 We appreciate all interest in this opportunity. However, we will only be considering applicants who are currently enrolled in a registered university co-op program in Ontario and available for a 16-month full-time co-op starting in May 2026.
