Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Developer, for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role will need to work out of the office in Toronto, Ontario. The Service Now Developer will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate these into effective, efficient solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Configure: Build and customize ServiceNow applications and services. Manage the SDLC processes and write client/application-specific programs.
  • Technical Expertise: Design, develop, and troubleshoot solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including forms, workflows, interfaces, and custom scripts.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure the alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Integration: Develop integration solutions between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Support: Provide advanced support for ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolutions of issues. Perform regular operational tasks such as monitoring, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for deployments, processes, and technical details.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with ServiceNow as a Developer.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Ajax.
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies)
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.
  • Knowledge of integration between ServiceNow and other systems using REST/SOAP Web Services.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
