Tableau Developer
We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and engineers to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights.
Connect Tableau to various data sources (SQL databases, Excel, cloud platforms, etc.).
Optimize dashboards for performance and usability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and present findings.
Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Implement row-level security and data-level permissions in Tableau.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting of Tableau dashboards and data connections.
Document reports, dashboards, and data sources for user reference and audit purposes.
Primary Skill
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
3 to 4+ years of experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar BI/Analytics role.
Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Ability to analyze complex datasets and present insights clearly.
Experience with performance tuning and dashboard optimization.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Qlik) is a plus.
Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist/Certified Associate)
