Digital Asset Management / Geospatial Leader
Joining Arup
Arup’s purpose, shared values, and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 75 years, guiding how we shape a better world.
This role will seek to leverage the strong pipeline of work in digital in the north market to see how we might expand more formally to offer digital asset management services. This is an area that is currently a gap that clients are looking for firms to support them in this space, but our experience is limited. North projects are starting to develop strong client relationships that are very likely open doors to engaging in this space. Developing some recent, relevant credentials in digital asset management will have great benefits in our ability to continue to grow digital organically with existing clients.
Our current projects include several rail projects working with Cablelinx, Infrastructure Ontario, and Translink and civil projects, including Halifax Harbour Bridge.
Success in this role is in the support of local Digital Leads on major infrastructure (transit / bridges) in providing advisory in digital asset management applications. These advisory pieces may turn into additional support in procuring / implementing digital asset management systems – planning, vetting, procuring, configuring, data management policies, etc. Success in this role would look like engaging in supporting digital delivery on existing projects to understand the client context for asset management practice and finding opportunities to engage with them in this space. Slowly / organically growing a pipeline of work in the asset management space that could support 2-3 people within 2 years’ time, with good potential for future growth based on established experience, relationships developed through the initial period.
