SUMMARY
About the Role – Spa Attendant
Spa Attendants are the liaison between spa treatments and amenities. This individual is primarily responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of guest lockers, and treatment rooms. This includes the distribution of linens and the maintenance of toiletries in locker room vanities. Spa Attendants are also responsible for maintaining food and beverages in relaxation areas. Spa Attendants add to the guest experience by hosting and fostering an atmosphere of calm and relaxation.
Some of the responsibilities include:
· Spa attendants facilitate the day-to-day operations of spa.
· They conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of spa.
· They will be responsible for laundry duty
· Spa attendants assist with inventory, tracking supplies and stocking treatment rooms with fresh supplies.
· Spa attendants responsible for maintaining beverage and food offerings in relaxation areas.
· Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
· Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
· Excellent organizational skills and time management
· Previous housekeeping experience an asset
· Food handlers certificate (training course available)
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
· Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, and holidays
Your team and working environment:
- Must be able to lift up to 50-lbs
- Constant walking & standing
- Frequent lifting, crouching/bending/stooping/kneeling
- Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps; pushing and pulling
