Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is to perform preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, 
lubrication, adjustments, visual inspections, minor repairs; calibrations that are necessary in 
maintaining equipment, machinery, instruments, test equipment, wiring and all associated hardware at 
required specifications.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for maintenance and repair of hydraulic pumps, electric and air motors, etc.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLC control systems and electrical components up to 480 V 3 phase
    equipment.
  • Diagnose problems, repair, replace parts, test and adjust as needed.
  • Complete accurate paperwork for repair and spare parts inventory.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Conduct daily maintenance shop housekeeping in compliant of safety standards.
  • Follow, lead, demonstrate and adhere to safety and quality principles.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED required.



COMPETENCIES

  • Experience with Forklift and Scissor lift.
  • Computer proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, email and capability to learn other
    applications with basic instructions. 
  • Flexibility in schedule; ability to work overtime depending upon business needs.
  • Ability to exhibit basic skills, read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to work in face-paced environment.
  • Maintenance experience preferred.
  • A proactive, honest, and self-reliant personality, critical thinking, pragmatic & effective
    communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Required to adhere to all physical requirements involving being able to lift and/or move up to
    seventy pounds and working at heights above eight feet.
