Position Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all manufactured parts meet established quality standards before moving through production. This role involves hands-on inspection, accurate measurement, and proactive troubleshooting of quality concerns. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, is confident using precision tools, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts and components to verify they meet required specifications.

  • Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate quality concerns to production and leadership.

  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or related field preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of inspection methods and measurement tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in recording measurements.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
