Summary:
This role ensures the readiness and optimal use of the technical machinery and systems.
Essential Functions:
- Adhere to the requirements of the quality management system with the aim of continuous improvement
- Perform trouble shooting of the PLC and control network as required
- Assist with repair and maintenance of equipment and systems
- Set, adjust, repair, monitor, optimize and operate machines, detecting and correcting defective parts
- Manage the system, machine manuals and maintenance plans
- Assist with organizing spare parts inventory as needed
- Ensure all process control systems and networks remain operational and up to date
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Vocational training, preferably in mechatronics. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of the structure and function of production machinery
- Knowledge of mechatronics and automation as well as measurement, control and regulation
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming knowledge
