JOB SUMMARY:  We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor/Technician with supervisory experience, to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, and preventative maintenance, along with the ability to perform in-house fabrication using standard shop tools. Must have a focus on production and meeting customer expectations. Role is at a growing start-up facility.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, pneumatic      systems, hydraulics, motors, gearboxes, and electrical/electronic controls.
  • Carry out in-house fabrication, welding, and      machining tasks as needed for equipment repairs or modifications.
  • Safely operate shop tools, including grinders,      drills, saws, welding equipment, and measuring instruments.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues      to quickly restore production.
  • Assist in installation, setup, and commissioning of      new machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders,      and spare parts inventory.
  • Follow all company safety policies and ensure      compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate and communicate with engineering support teams      to improve equipment performance and reliability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Proven ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and      fabrication tools.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyors, pneumatics, electrical control systems, and      mechanical repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs, sensors, and electronic troubleshooting preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime

EDUCATION: A high school diploma or GED; or up to five years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Role required to regularly stand, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. 


The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


Must be comfortable occasionally working at heights in compliance with safety standards.
