About the role

Lockheed Martin is Canada's most successful Combat System Integrator specializing in large sophisticated integration projects. We take advantage of advanced engineering practices and modern technologies to design, develop and integrate combat systems.  The successful candidate will contribute to the Lockheed Martin Canada Integration, Test and Evaluation team as follows:
  • Development and/or review of shipboard/Shore-based Test and Trials; including Set-to-Work, Integration Testing, HATs, SATs, and Operational Test & Evaluation
  • Support planning and the execution of the Acceptance activities
  • Support planning and process development with the Ship Integration team on Preventative and Corrective Maintenance tasks for Combat Systems
  • Support in managing and planning the identification and resolution of Combat System integration issues so that priority defects are corrected to meet testing schedules
  • Support in Test Report reviews to include data collection analysis results and report findings as necessary to key stakeholders
  • Support specialty engineering as required
Planning
  • Support planning in Combat System equipment configuration requirements for IT&E programs
  • Support planning for test engineering team in data collection and analysis for summary report, problem isolation and problem resolution.
  • Managing defects reporting and documentation
  • Support planning for Customer familiarization with entire Combat System equipment, maintenance and operations
  • Support continuous management of the ship and shore-based schedules understanding program priorities
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to effectively manage and coordinate build dates and testing
  • Support in the Develop plan and coordination in the IT&E Test program(s)
  Reporting
  • Escalate issues that impact planned test events to senior leadership in real time
  • Maintain current metrics for problem reports
  • Attend Daily Stand-up to report out on major issues

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience
