About the Department

Team Gilbert is seeking a People Team Specialist to join our Solutions Team and help create exceptional employee experiences from application to onboarding and beyond. As part of our award-winning People Team, you'll support a workforce of over 1,800 employees who are dedicated to making Gilbert the "City of the Future."

This role is perfect for someone ready to launch their HR career in a fast-paced, supportive environment where growth isn't just encouraged—it's expected. You'll be a brand ambassador for Gilbert, guiding candidates through their career journey while learning and supporting aspects of talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide candidates through their application journey with professionalism and care
  • Facilitate pre-boarding processes including background checks and screenings
  • Lead new employee orientation and seasonal onboarding programs
  • Support recruitment efforts and interview coordination
  • Manage employee recognition programs and celebrations
