*Day shift availability required. Shift time: 7am-7pm *

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be physically capable of climbing a ladder, lifting up to 75 lbs. and performing all tasks associated with industrial maintenance.
  • Have knowledge of general mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles as they pertain to industrial equipment.
  • Basic plumbing and pipe fitting skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical failures.
  • Ability to accurately read tape measures, calipers and micrometers. 
  • Required to perform routine maintenance on plant equipment as scheduled.
  • Required to perform machine repairs to include mechanical and basic electrical component repair or replacement.
  • Ability to interact courteously with members in a team environment.
  • Adhere to company policy concerning safety equipment and safe work practices especially lock out tag out procedures.
  • Ability to accurately record and describe work performed in daily work/time sheets.
  • Ability to read and follow basic work instructions, policies, procedures or other directional material.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.

Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Skills / Experience / Education Requirements:

Basic Mechanical aptitude. Prior experience in machine or automotive disassembly, repair, and maintenance is required.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Must be able to work with necessary personal protective equipment including but not limited to; Respirators, safety harnesses, safety glasses, face shields, gloves etc. Must be willing to be blood tested for lead semiannually and pass respirator fit and training requirements for the position. Must be able to work in extreme heat, and work at heights of up to 50 feet. This job requires working around molten Bismuth and lead. Lifting up to 75 lbs., climbing stairs up to 50 feet, working in semi confined spaces while laying on your back, stomach or knee’s. This job also requires being able to have oils and greases on your hands and arms without negative reactions.
