KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director, Operations Technology is responsible for leading the strategy, design, implementation, and optimization of all store operations technology and supporting platforms across our 300-store omnichannel retail footprint. This leader ensures the seamless integration and performance of in-store systems, fulfillment solutions, inventory management platforms, and other critical operational technologies that enable both in-store and digital retail experiences.
The role blends technology leadership, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in an evolving retail environment.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Shape Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for merchandising systems supporting omnichannel retail transformation.
- Lead Enterprise Systems: Oversee design, deployment, and optimization of planning, assortment, and product lifecycle management platforms.
- Enable Omnichannel Integration: Ensure seamless systems connectivity across stores, online, and supply chain channels.
- Drive Transformation: Lead enterprise-level system upgrades, migrations, and technology adoption initiatives.
- Empower Data-Driven Decisions: Build analytics and reporting capabilities to provide actionable insights for merchandising teams.
- Ensure Compliance & Security: Maintain systems that meet security, regulatory, and governance standards.
- Deliver Engineering Excellence: Lead high-performing teams to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions.
- Manage Vendors & Partners: Drive relationships with technology vendors and integrators to maximize value and innovation.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Merchandising, Product, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations to ensure technology meets business needs.
- Develop Talent: Build and mentor a top-tier engineering team specializing in product and merchandising technology.
