Job Summary:


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level IT technician to join our growing IT team.  In this role, you will assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with a passion for technology looking to start a career in IT. This position will directly support an office of approximately 45 employees as well as sharing remote support responsibilities for another 120 employees across the country.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to users via phone, email, or in person
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates and virus scans
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Assist with setting up new users and managing user accounts
  • Document issues, resolutions, and support processes
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies
  • Follow established IT policies and procedures
  • Support senior IT staff with larger projects and system upgrades 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or IT certification  (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, etc.) preferred
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite, MAC OS, iOS and Android Operating Systems, SharePoint, ShareFile, SmartSheet
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

  

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

  • Internship or hands-on experience in a helpdesk or tech support role
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts
  • Knowledge of cloud-based tools (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, ShareFile)
