Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment issues before they escalate.
- Document maintenance and repair activities in compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with production staff to minimize equipment downtime and optimize performance.
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or machinery environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as required.
