<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>

<p>We are looking for a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer for the Specialized Design team to join our future. The engineering candidate must be a self-starter and willing to learn, able to work independently and as part of a team and must be comfortable with the broad scope of cradle-to-grave design engineering. The candidate will be responsible for assisting/leading the project team with HVAC load calculations, determining system sizing and layouts, calculating HVAC equipment sizes, selecting HVAC equipment, and preparing CAD drawings. Additional duties also include researching the latest HVAC technology, preparing technical documents and installation manuals, and implementing hands-on fabrication.</p>

<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>ABET Accredited College Degree (B.S in Mechanical Engineering)</li>
	<li>U.S. Citizen</li>
	<li>Minimum of 3+ years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting</li>
	<li>Proficiency with 2D and/or 3D CAD (AutoCAD and SolidWorks Preferred)</li>
	<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office required</li>
	<li>Intermediate experience with performing engineering calculations, and developing and implementing HVAC, mechanical utility, and piping systems designs with limited supervision required.</li>
	<li>Intermediate experience with the mechanical/plumbing/fire code</li>
	<li>Intermediate experience with applicable industry standards</li>
	<li>Intermediate experience conducting and leading field surveys of existing conditions and support of field reporting</li>
	<li>Proficient with intermediate and external cross-discipline project team coordination</li>
	<li>Intermediate support of construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal review, punch list development, and construction progress reports</li>
	<li>Strong communications skills, both written and oral</li>
	<li>Willingness to learn</li>
	<li>Proficiency in self-management within a team environment</li>
	<li>Self-starter; able to work independently</li>
	<li>Proficient with shop and hand tools</li>
	<li>Active US Security Clearance</li>
	<li>EIT (Engineering in Training)</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Desirables</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Professional Registration (licensure)</li>
	<li>Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics Software</li>
	<li>Experience with Engineering Calculation Software such as Trane Trace or Carrier HAP</li>
	<li>Understanding and experience with residential and/or commercial HVAC systems</li>
	<li>AutoCAD Experience</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Principle Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>The Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the discipline and managing the discipline budget on small to medium projects of limited complexity.</li>
	<li>The Mechanical Engineer coordinates with internal and external discipline leads, as well as client, construction manager, subcontractor, and vendor interfaces.</li>
	<li>The Engineer may work independently or at the direction of the Lead Engineer or Project Manager.</li>
	<li>Plan and direct work and manage a project budget from a mechanical design perspective on small projects of limited complexity.</li>
	<li>Support proposal development under the supervision of a lead or senior engineer.</li>
	<li>Identify basic non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys.</li>
	<li>Develop basic internal mechanical design and engineering training presentations.</li>
	<li>Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications on intermediate projects of limited complexity and with little oversight.</li>
	<li>Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of design or applications.</li>
	<li>Research design, and evaluate mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.</li>
	<li>Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.</li>
	<li>Assist drafters in developing the design of products, using drafting tools or computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software.</li>
	<li>Provide feedback to senior engineers on customer problems and needs.</li>
	<li>Study processes to determine where and how the application of equipment can be made.</li>
	<li>Write performance requirements for product development or engineering projects.</li>
	<li>Apply engineering principles and be open to acquiring new skills and knowledge in the field of engineering.</li>
	<li>Read, develop, and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.</li>
	<li>Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.</li>
	<li>Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.</li>
	<li>Design test control apparatus and equipment and develop procedures for testing products.</li>
	<li>Develop and test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess feasibility, operating condition effects, possible new applications, and the necessity of modification.</li>
	<li>Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations for future mitigation strategies.</li>
	<li>Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.</li>
	<li>Successfully write performance requirements for product development or engineering projects.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-time</p>

<p><strong>Pay:</strong> $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year</p>

<p>This position requires strong problem-solving skills, broad knowledge of Mechanical systems (HVAC, controls, refrigerants, plumbing, compressed gasses, etc.) and the ability to resolve initially undefined scenarios. Responsibilities include the design of complex integrated mechanical systems, which includes and is not limited to the conceptualization, system level architecture, design, investigation, evaluation and implementation of cooling, ventilation, fire protection, controls, specialized filtration, pressurization and refrigerant systems. This work relates to new and existing installations and includes limited work with electrical and fire detection systems. The individual within this position shall oversee the work and shall promote the personal and professional development of junior engineers and technicians. This position includes a high degree of contact with clients, contractors, consultants and operating personnel, which require the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. The individual must be able to work and solve problems independently and manage multiple concurrent projects.</p>

<p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p>

	<li>Four-year Engineering Degree required from an ABET accredited university, Masters preferred</li>
	<li>10+ Years related Engineering Experience</li>

<p><strong>We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our future:</strong></p>

<p>The Senior Electrical Engineer provides electrical design expertise and leadership for the entire project, from initial survey through final inspection. The Senior Electrical Engineer serves as the electrical discipline team leader for the project directing other engineers and designers as required and appropriate. Typical duties that the Senior Electrical Engineer will be expected to perform will include writing technical reports, performing calculations, selecting equipment, and designing lighting, power, fire alarm, security and telcom/data systems.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<p>� Act as the primary point of contact for electrical related project issues</p>

<p>� Complete project from start to finish without direction</p>

<p>� Conduct surveys of existing conditions</p>

<p>� Write technical reports</p>

<p>� Perform calculations, select equipment, and design systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, and telcom/data systems)</p>

<p>� Prepare project specifications</p>

<p>� Respond to Requests for Information during bidding and construction</p>

<p>� Review construction submittals</p>

<p>� Conduct and document final inspections</p>

<p>� Generate As-Built drawings</p>

<p>� Ensure all project work is completed on schedule and within budget</p>

<p>� Perform quality control reviews on all assigned projects as directed by the Department Head</p>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>

<p>� U.S. Citizenship</p>

<p>� BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university</p>

<p>� Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, AGI32, and SKM</p>

<p>� Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.)</p>

<p>� 10+ years of experience in design and specification of: lighting systems, power systems, fire alarm systems, telcom/data systems, medium voltage power systems, UPS systems, emergency generator systems, grounding systems, and utility systems</p>

<p>� Extensive experience with renovation and new projects for commercial, government, and institutional clients</p>

<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>

<p>� Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance</p>

<p>� Construction Document Technologists (CDT) certified by the Construction Specifications Institute</p>

<p>We are looking for a <strong>Lead Electrical Engineer</strong> to join our team:</p>

<p>The Lead Electrical Engineer provides electrical design expertise and leadership for their discipline of a project, from initial survey through final inspection. The Lead Electrical Engineer serves as the electrical discipline team leader for the project, directing other engineers and designers as required and appropriate. Typical duties that the Lead Electrical Engineer may be expected to perform include writing technical reports, conducting surveys, performing calculations, completing power, telemetry, and telecommunications designs, conducting research and development, systems integration, testing, hands-on assembly, and PLC programming.</p>

<p>Minimum Requirements:</p>

<ul>
	<li>U.S. Citizenship</li>
	<li>BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university</li>
	<li>5-10 years of MEP or similar experience</li>
	<li>Engineer In Training (EIT) required; or Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to obtain within 1 year</li>
	<li>Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance</li>
	<li>Experience with single- and three-phase power systems</li>
	<li>Experience with electrical codes and standards</li>
	<li>Experience conducting field surveys of existing conditions</li>
	<li>Experience with multi-disciplinary work, both internal and external to the company</li>
	<li>Strong communications skills, both written and oral</li>
	<li>Proficiency in self-management within a team environment</li>
	<li>Able to complete project from start to finish with moderate supervisor oversight</li>
	<li>Proficiency with 2D CAD (AutoCAD)</li>
	<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite</li>
</ul>

<p>Desirable Skills/Experience:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) design or hands-on engineering experience</li>
	<li>Critical power system designs involving UPSs, generators, transfer switches, and redundant/fault tolerant topologies</li>
	<li>Experience with industrial and/or network communications protocols and hardware</li>
	<li>General knowledge of control systems, including physical design, PLC/HMI programming, and monitoring/telemetry systems</li>
	<li>Experience with Photovoltaic (PV) and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) design</li>
	<li>Experience providing technical training and technical writing</li>
	<li>Experience with SKM (or ETAP)</li>
</ul>

<p>Principle Duties and Responsibilities</p>

<ul>
	<li>Oversee medium single-discipline engineering projects, or work with a team on large or complex multi-discipline projects.</li>
	<li>Coordinate with internal and external discipline leads, as well as client, construction manager, subcontractor, and vendor interfaces. Provide feedback to project managers and customers to address their problems and needs.</li>
	<li>Assist the project manager and senior engineer with proposal development.</li>
	<li>Identify non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys.</li>
	<li>Develop electrical training presentations and manuals for internal and external use.</li>
	<li>Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications on projects of moderate complexity and with little oversight.</li>
	<li>Research, design, specify, and evaluate electrical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.</li>
	<li>Assist with writing performance requirements for product development or engineering projects.</li>
	<li>Apply engineering principles and be open to acquiring new skills and knowledge in the field of engineering.</li>
	<li>Read, develop, and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.</li>
	<li>Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.</li>
	<li>Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.</li>
	<li>Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations for future mitigation strategies or design modifications to eliminate device or system malfunctions.</li>

<p>We are looking for a <strong>Lead Electrical Engineer</strong> to join our team:</p>

<p>The Lead Electrical Engineer provides electrical design expertise and leadership for their discipline of a project, from initial survey through final inspection. The Lead Electrical Engineer serves as the electrical discipline team leader for the project, directing other engineers and designers as required and appropriate. Typical duties that the Lead Electrical Engineer may be expected to perform include writing technical reports, conducting surveys, performing calculations, completing power, telemetry, and telecommunications designs, conducting research and development, systems integration, testing, hands-on assembly, and PLC programming.</p>

<p>Minimum Requirements:</p>

<ul>
	<li>U.S. Citizenship</li>
	<li>BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university</li>
	<li>5-10 years of MEP or similar experience</li>
	<li>Engineer In Training (EIT) required; or Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to obtain within 1 year</li>
	<li>Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance</li>
	<li>Experience with single- and three-phase power systems</li>
	<li>Experience with electrical codes and standards</li>
	<li>Experience conducting field surveys of existing conditions</li>

<p>Principle Duties and Responsibilities</p>

<ul>
	<li>Oversee medium single-discipline engineering projects, or work with a team on large or complex multi-discipline projects.</li>
	<li>Coordinate with internal and external discipline leads, as well as client, construction manager, subcontractor, and vendor interfaces. Provide feedback to project managers and customers to address their problems and needs.</li>
	<li>Assist the project manager and senior engineer with proposal development.</li>
	<li>Identify non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys.</li>
	<li>Develop electrical training presentations and manuals for internal and external use.</li>
	<li>Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications on projects of moderate complexity and with little oversight.</li>
	<li>Research, design, specify, and evaluate electrical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.</li>
	<li>Assist with writing performance requirements for product development or engineering projects.</li>
	<li>Apply engineering principles and be open to acquiring new skills and knowledge in the field of engineering.</li>
	<li>Read, develop, and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.</li>
	<li>Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.</li>
	<li>Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.</li>
	<li>Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations for future mitigation strategies or design modifications to eliminate device or system malfunctions.</li>

<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>

<p>This position requires strong problem-solving skills, broad knowledge of Mechanical systems (HVAC, controls, refrigerants, plumbing, compressed gasses, etc.) and the ability to resolve initially undefined scenarios. Responsibilities include the design of complex integrated mechanical systems, which includes and is not limited to the conceptualization, system level architecture, design, investigation, evaluation and implementation of cooling, ventilation, fire protection, controls, specialized filtration, pressurization and refrigerant systems. This work relates to new and existing installations and includes limited work with electrical and fire detection systems. The individual within this position shall oversee the work and shall promote the personal and professional development of junior engineers and technicians. This position includes a high degree of contact with clients, contractors, consultants and operating personnel, which require the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. The individual must be able to work and solve problems independently and manage multiple concurrent projects.</p>

<p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Four-year Engineering Degree required from an ABET accredited university, Masters preferred</li>
	<li>10+ Years related Engineering Experience</li>
	<li>Professional Engineer in Virginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia</li>
	<li>Security Clearance preferred, ability to obtain security clearance mandatory</li>
	<li>Equipment specific certifications (e.g. Liebert/Vertiv iCOM, Mitsubishi VRF installation and service, Multistack Air-Cooled system)</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Requisite Skills</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Able to complete project from start to finish without direction</li>

<p>The Project Manager�s primary role is to manage various types of engineering design projects and serve as the design team lead when interfacing with customers. The Project Manager will work side by side the design team with a constant eye toward managing scope and budget.</p>

<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>

<p>We are looking for a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer for the Specialized Design team to join our future. The engineering candidate must be a self-starter and willing to learn, able to work independently and as part of a team and must be comfortable with the broad scope of cradle-to-grave design engineering. The candidate will be responsible for assisting/leading the project team with HVAC load calculations, determining system sizing and layouts, calculating HVAC equipment sizes, selecting HVAC equipment, and preparing CAD drawings. Additional duties also include researching the latest HVAC technology, preparing technical documents and installation manuals, and implementing hands-on fabrication.</p>

<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>ABET Accredited College Degree (B.S in Mechanical Engineering)</li>
	<li>U.S. Citizen</li>
	<li>Minimum of 3+ years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting</li>
	<li>Proficiency with 2D and/or 3D CAD (AutoCAD and SolidWorks Preferred)</li>
	<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office required</li>
	<li>Intermediate experience with performing engineering calculations, and developing and implementing HVAC, mechanical utility, and piping systems designs with limited supervision required.</li>
	<li>Intermediate experience with the mechanical/plumbing/fire code</li>
	<li>Intermediate experience with applicable industry standards</li>
	<li>Intermediate experience conducting and leading field surveys of existing conditions and support of field reporting</li>
	<li>Proficient with intermediate and external cross-discipline project team coordination</li>

<p><strong>Principle Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>The Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the discipline and managing the discipline budget on small to medium projects of limited complexity.</li>
	<li>The Mechanical Engineer coordinates with internal and external discipline leads, as well as client, construction manager, subcontractor, and vendor interfaces.</li>
	<li>The Engineer may work independently or at the direction of the Lead Engineer or Project Manager.</li>
	<li>Plan and direct work and manage a project budget from a mechanical design perspective on small projects of limited complexity.</li>
	<li>Support proposal development under the supervision of a lead or senior engineer.</li>
	<li>Identify basic non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys.</li>
	<li>Develop basic internal mechanical design and engineering training presentations.</li>
	<li>Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications on intermediate projects of limited complexity and with little oversight.</li>

<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p>

	<li>B.S. in Electrical Engineering</li>
	<li>8+ years experience, and your P.E.</li>

	<li>Experience with design and specification of Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm, and Telecommunications systems for Commercial, Industrial, and Government projects.</li>
	<li>Have a an active security clearance or able to acquire a US security clearance.</li>

	<li>Have 5+ years experience with large design/build government projects, with overseas Power design a plus.</li>
	<li>Have working knowledge of A&E design process and specifications leading to construction documents.</li>

<p><strong>We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our future:</strong></p>

<p>The Senior Electrical Engineer provides electrical design expertise and leadership for the entire project, from initial survey through final inspection. The Senior Electrical Engineer serves as the electrical discipline team leader for the project directing other engineers and designers as required and appropriate. Typical duties that the Senior Electrical Engineer will be expected to perform will include writing technical reports, performing calculations, selecting equipment, and designing lighting, power, fire alarm, security and telcom/data systems.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<p>� Act as the primary point of contact for electrical related project issues</p>

<p>� Complete project from start to finish without direction</p>

<p>� Conduct surveys of existing conditions</p>

<p>� Write technical reports</p>

<p>� Perform calculations, select equipment, and design systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, and telcom/data systems)</p>

<p>� Prepare project specifications</p>

<p>� Respond to Requests for Information during bidding and construction</p>

<p>� Review construction submittals</p>

<p>� Conduct and document final inspections</p>

<p>� Generate As-Built drawings</p>

<p>� Ensure all project work is completed on schedule and within budget</p>

<p>� Perform quality control reviews on all assigned projects as directed by the Department Head</p>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>

<p>� U.S. Citizenship</p>

<p>� BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university</p>

<p>� Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, AGI32, and SKM</p>

<p>� Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.)</p>

<p>� 10+ years of experience in design and specification of: lighting systems, power systems, fire alarm systems, telcom/data systems, medium voltage power systems, UPS systems, emergency generator systems, grounding systems, and utility systems</p>

<p>� Extensive experience with renovation and new projects for commercial, government, and institutional clients</p>

<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>

<p>� Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance</p>

<p>� Construction Document Technologists (CDT) certified by the Construction Specifications Institute</p>

<p>� LEED Accredited Professional certified by the U.S. Green Building�s Council (USGBC)</p>

<p>� Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD)</p>

<p>We are looking for a <strong>Lead Electrical Engineer</strong> to join our team:</p>

<p>The Lead Electrical Engineer provides electrical design expertise and leadership for their discipline of a project, from initial survey through final inspection. The Lead Electrical Engineer serves as the electrical discipline team leader for the project, directing other engineers and designers as required and appropriate. Typical duties that the Lead Electrical Engineer may be expected to perform include writing technical reports, conducting surveys, performing calculations, completing power, telemetry, and telecommunications designs, conducting research and development, systems integration, testing, hands-on assembly, and PLC programming.</p>

<p>Minimum Requirements:</p>

<ul>
	<li>U.S. Citizenship</li>
	<li>BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university</li>
	<li>5-10 years of MEP or similar experience</li>
	<li>Engineer In Training (EIT) required; or Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to obtain within 1 year</li>
	<li>Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance</li>
	<li>Experience with single- and three-phase power systems</li>
	<li>Experience with electrical codes and standards</li>
	<li>Experience conducting field surveys of existing conditions</li>
	<li>Experience with multi-disciplinary work, both internal and external to the company</li>
	<li>Strong communications skills, both written and oral</li>
	<li>Proficiency in self-management within a team environment</li>
	<li>Able to complete project from start to finish with moderate supervisor oversight</li>
	<li>Proficiency with 2D CAD (AutoCAD)</li>
	<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite</li>

<p>Desirable Skills/Experience:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) design or hands-on engineering experience</li>
	<li>Critical power system designs involving UPSs, generators, transfer switches, and redundant/fault tolerant topologies</li>
	<li>Experience with industrial and/or network communications protocols and hardware</li>
	<li>General knowledge of control systems, including physical design, PLC/HMI programming, and monitoring/telemetry systems</li>
	<li>Experience with Photovoltaic (PV) and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) design</li>

<p>Principle Duties and Responsibilities</p>

<ul>
	<li>Oversee medium single-discipline engineering projects, or work with a team on large or complex multi-discipline projects.</li>
	<li>Coordinate with internal and external discipline leads, as well as client, construction manager, subcontractor, and vendor interfaces. Provide feedback to project managers and customers to address their problems and needs.</li>
	<li>Assist the project manager and senior engineer with proposal development.</li>
	<li>Identify non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys.</li>
	<li>Develop electrical training presentations and manuals for internal and external use.</li>
	<li>Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications on projects of moderate complexity and with little oversight.</li>
	<li>Research, design, specify, and evaluate electrical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.</li>
	<li>Assist with writing performance requirements for product development or engineering projects.</li>
	<li>Apply engineering principles and be open to acquiring new skills and knowledge in the field of engineering.</li>
	<li>Read, develop, and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.</li>
	<li>Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.</li>
	<li>Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.</li>
	<li>Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations for future mitigation strategies or design modifications to eliminate device or system malfunctions.</li>

<p>Position Summary</p>

<p>The Project Manager�s primary role is to manage various types of engineering design projects and serve as the design team lead when interfacing with customers. The Project Manager will work side by side the design team with a constant eye toward managing scope and budget.</p>

<p>We are looking for a <strong>Lead Electrical Engineer</strong> to join our team:</p>

<p>The Lead Electrical Engineer provides electrical design expertise and leadership for their discipline of a project, from initial survey through final inspection. The Lead Electrical Engineer serves as the electrical discipline team leader for the project, directing other engineers and designers as required and appropriate. Typical duties that the Lead Electrical Engineer may be expected to perform include writing technical reports, conducting surveys, performing calculations, completing power, telemetry, and telecommunications designs, conducting research and development, systems integration, testing, hands-on assembly, and PLC programming.</p>

<p>Minimum Requirements:</p>

<ul>
	<li>U.S. Citizenship</li>
	<li>BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university</li>
	<li>5-10 years of MEP or similar experience</li>
	<li>Engineer In Training (EIT) required; or Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to obtain within 1 year</li>
	<li>Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance</li>
	<li>Experience with single- and three-phase power systems</li>
	<li>Experience with electrical codes and standards</li>
	<li>Experience conducting field surveys of existing conditions</li>
	<li>Experience with multi-disciplinary work, both internal and external to the company</li>
	<li>Strong communications skills, both written and oral</li>
	<li>Proficiency in self-management within a team environment</li>
	<li>Able to complete project from start to finish with moderate supervisor oversight</li>
	<li>Proficiency with 2D CAD (AutoCAD)</li>
	<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite</li>
</ul>

<p>Desirable Skills/Experience:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) design or hands-on engineering experience</li>
	<li>Critical power system designs involving UPSs, generators, transfer switches, and redundant/fault tolerant topologies</li>
	<li>Experience with industrial and/or network communications protocols and hardware</li>
	<li>General knowledge of control systems, including physical design, PLC/HMI programming, and monitoring/telemetry systems</li>
	<li>Experience with Photovoltaic (PV) and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) design</li>
	<li>Experience providing technical training and technical writing</li>
	<li>Experience with SKM (or ETAP)</li>
</ul>

<p>Principle Duties and Responsibilities</p>

<ul>
	<li>Oversee medium single-discipline engineering projects, or work with a team on large or complex multi-discipline projects.</li>
	<li>Coordinate with internal and external discipline leads, as well as client, construction manager, subcontractor, and vendor interfaces. Provide feedback to project managers and customers to address their problems and needs.</li>
	<li>Assist the project manager and senior engineer with proposal development.</li>
	<li>Identify non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys.</li>
	<li>Develop electrical training presentations and manuals for internal and external use.</li>
	<li>Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications on projects of moderate complexity and with little oversight.</li>
	<li>Research, design, specify, and evaluate electrical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.</li>
	<li>Assist with writing performance requirements for product development or engineering projects.</li>
	<li>Apply engineering principles and be open to acquiring new skills and knowledge in the field of engineering.</li>
	<li>Read, develop, and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.</li>
	<li>Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.</li>
	<li>Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.</li>
	<li>Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations for future mitigation strategies or design modifications to eliminate device or system malfunctions.</li>
</ul>
