Finance - Utility Billing

Meter Technician

Reads, maintains, tests, repairs and replaces water meters; requires a valid state driver’s license; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Inspector II

Two years of building construction/inspections experience or equivalent; vocational/technical diploma with training in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; Texas Plumbing Inspector license; valid driver’s license.

Water Superintendent

HS diploma/GED plus up to 5 years water/wastewater maintenance or heavy equipment experience; valid TX driver’s license; TCEQ Grade B Groundwater Operator Certification required; Class III Collections or Class B Wastewater Certification preferred.

Recreation Coordinator - Health and Fitness

Recreation Coordinator

High School diploma/GED plus 2 years in recreation/community services; 1 year admin/supervisory; CPR/First Aid; group exercise certifications; sports officiating; CPRP and CPT desirable.

City Attorney

Juris Doctor, Texas bar in good standing, 5-7 years municipal law, Texas driver license, civil service experience preferred.

Police Officer

Must be 21+, HS diploma or GED with college credits or military discharge, eligible for or already certified by TCOLE, pass background and physical tests, US citizen, able to pass agility test.
