Heavy Equipment Operator

CDL Class A with tanker endorsement; Mosquito Abatement/Pesticide Applicators License; flagger certification (and MSHA, APWA, ATSSA may be required); high school diploma or GED; 3-5 years street maintenance experience; clean driving record; ability to work outdoors in all weather; on-call and flexible schedule.

Advanced Equipment Operator - Streets

Advanced Equipment Operator

High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years street maintenance; valid SD Class B CDL; mosquito abatement/pesticide license within 1 year; certifications (Flagger, MSHA, APWA, ATSSA) within 1 year; outdoor work; on-call including evenings/weekends/holidays.

Street Maintenance Technician

High school diploma or GED; snow removal/road repair/line striping experience preferred; valid SD Class 1 license and ability to obtain Class B within 1 year; certifications such as Flagger and MSHA within 1 year; outdoor work and after-hours availability; on-call with flexible evenings/weekends/holidays.

Lifeguard

Lifeguard duties include surveillance, rescue, first aid/CPR, and enforcing pool rules; pass swim test and background check; minimum age 15; preferred experience with children and lifeguard certification.

Certified Patrol Officer

Current certified law enforcement officer; eligible for certification in SD; US citizen; 21+; high school graduate or equivalent; ability to work shift, be on-call, weekends/holidays.
