Child Nutrition Specialist 6-hr

Child Nutrition Specialist

High school diploma preferred; 16 hours of TASN Level I training; English literacy and basic math; prepares food from recipes; operates kitchen equipment; cash register proficiency.

Child Nutrition Specialist 4-hr

High school diploma preferred; will complete 16 hours of TASN Level I by end of first year; English literacy and basic math; food preparation and kitchen equipment skills; cash register operation.

Paraprofessional - Special Education/BEST

Paraprofessional

High school diploma or GED; 18+; Texas educational aide certificate; associate degree or two years of college; experience with children; ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively; basic office equipment knowledge.

Bus Monitor

Operate bus transportation for students; work with children with disabilities; manage student behavior; use safety and adaptive equipment; follow instructions.

Bus Driver

Operate school bus; Texas CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements; must be 18; pass DOT tests and annual physical; complete bus driver safety training; capable of following instructions and using GPS/map systems; no prior experience required.

Bus Driver Trainee

Train to become an MISD substitute/full-time bus driver; operate school bus safely for students on assigned routes.

Special Education Teacher - Specialized Behavior/BEST

Special Education Teacher

Bachelor’s in education; Texas teaching certificate with special education endorsements; at least 3 years SPED teaching experience (preferred); knowledge of ARD/IEP processes and behavior management.

Part Time Athletic Game Worker

Athletic Game Worker

Part-time event worker for athletic games; tasks include ticket operations, ushers, gate monitors, table workers, crowd control, announcers, and sport-specific activities. Duties vary by contest and may occur before, during, or after events.

Special Education Teacher - Resource/Inclusion
