Membership Desk (Y on the Oval)

Membership Desk

Basic computer skills, data entry, strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work in a flexible environment.

Camp Director

Must be at least 21; 2+ years working with children in a day camp setting; summer availability late June–mid August; highly organized; able to lead a cohesive team; current First Aid and CPR certifications; strong communication and safety focus.

Camp Counselor

Supervise campers, maintain health and safety, and support camp activities; must be at least 16 years old; summer availability; CPR/First Aid certifications.

16+ years old, summer availability, experience supervising children, First Aid and CPR certifications, ability to work in a camp setting.

Youth Sports Assistant

Assist with youth sports programs; supervise practices and games; foster positive experiences; ensure safety; coordinate with Sports Director; assist with equipment and field prep.

Assistant Swim Lesson Instructor (MALONE)

Assistant Swim Lesson Instructor

Supports aquatics program; instructs swim lessons; ensures safety; flexible hours; 15+ years old; YMCA Swim Lessons or American Red Cross certification; WSI desirable.

Swim Lesson Instructor (MALONE)

Swim Lesson Instructor

Must be 18+, current YMCA Swim Lessons or American Red Cross certification; WSI preferred; flexible hours including weekends/holidays.

Lifeguard (MALONE)

Lifeguard

Must be 18+; American Red Cross Lifeguard with CPR/AED/First Aid; able to pass lifeguard skills test; able to lift 50 lbs.

Y's Time Counselor (2025-26)

Y's Time Counselor

Supervise children in childcare; plan developmentally appropriate activities; ensure safety and cleanliness; communicate with parents; attend trainings; CPR/First Aid/AED and Child Abuse Prevention within 30 days.

Must be 15+; current YMCA Swim Lessons or American Red Cross cert; WSI certification desired; flexible hours including weekends/holidays.

Lifeguard with CPR/AED and First Aid; 18+ preferred; must meet YMCA standards.

Cleaner

Cleans facilities, maintains sanitation, and performs light maintenance; able to lift up to 50 lbs; strong teamwork and communication skills; HS diploma or GED required.

Fitness Instructor (Any Class)

Fitness Instructor

 CPR/AED, First Aid, and group fitness instructor certification required; experience teaching group fitness classes.

Center Assistant Teacher

Floater/Substitute Teacher needed; HS diploma or one year experience with children; CPR/First Aid; strong interpersonal skills.
