Job Description

National Tube Supply Canada, a leading metals service centers specializing in carbon and alloy tubular products is seeking an EXPERIENCED FULL TIME Saw Operator for our Mississauga, ON location for our 1st shift (6am-2:30pm).
 
 
Job duties include but not limited to:
  • Operate industrial bandsaw.
  • Measure/verify material using tape measure, caliper and micrometer to Job Traveler requirements
  • Operate 15-ton overhead pendant crane.
  • Operate side loaders and forklift.
  • Operate general warehouse equipment
  • Perform daily circle checks on warehouse equipment
  • Follow directions on paperwork, special instructions, and from supervisor.
  • Properly identify material.
  • Fill out paperwork.
  • Process orders into computer software.
  • Safely handle, move, stack, and load material.


Successful candidates will have at least 1 year of steel or industrial experience including operating industrial saws, overhead cranes, and sideloader; along with the ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and communicate effectively with fellow employees and supervisor. This role also requires a high school diploma or equivalent in addition to being detailed oriented and able to focus on multiple tasks.

Competitive hourly rate: $25.00+ per hour, based on experience and skill level
