Job Description

Join the San José Resilience Corps Learning Pathway Team! 

We are looking for a professional, reliable, and passionate individual who is interested in supporting Resilience Corps Associates (RCAs) and contributing to the overall success of the program. This is a part-time position supporting the Resilience Corps Learning Pathways during the 2026–2027 academic year.

This is a great opportunity to:

  • Build peer mentoring and leadership skills 
  • Expand your professional development 
  • Work alongside other passionate professionals
  • Serve as a peer mentor and role model for incoming RCAs

Essential Duties: 

• Support hiring and onboarding processes for RCA cohorts 

• Provide virtual and in-person support to program participants 

• Conduct regular check-ins and maintain participant documentation 

• Share personal RCA experience and mentorship when appropriate 

• Send reminders, updates and make calls regarding timesheets, holidays, and compliance 

• Participate in weekly meetings and monthly professional development workshops 

• Assist with resource allocation and participant support 

• Support SJPLF events and fundraising initiatives through storytelling and relationship building

• Attend in-person events every first Friday to support program management, and in-office days as needed

• Support with program related administrative tasks as needed

Requirements: 

• Must have served as a Resilience Corps Associate during Academic year 2025–2026 

• Priority given to first-generation students and those familiar with the San José community 

• Priority given to applicants living in San José under-resourced census tracts 

• Ability to commit from August 2026 – June 2027 

• Available to work 20 hours per week 

• Must Support the in-person orientation August 3–7, 2026 

• Must attend first Friday's Professional Development Workshops 

• Reliable transportation or familiarity with public transportation required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance during participation in Resilience Corps
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using virtual meeting platforms
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism
  • Comfortable meeting one on on with all RCAs

Pay: $30/hour | Part-Time
