As an Account Executive for the fundraising market, you will work with developed strategies to generate interest, establish and grow relationships, and consult with prospects through the sales lifecycle to help grow haku's book of business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Generate new business through prospecting activities, nurturing inbound leads, and other developed strategies
- Develop trusted relationships with prospects and clients and be adept at identifying the critical business needs they face
- Consistently exceed your quarterly and annual goals and earn incentive-based compensation accordingly
- Become a fundraising industry expert to navigate a consultative and strategic sales process with prospects
- Update and maintain all sales activities, opportunities, pipeline, and account information in our CRM
- Work with Product Marketing to better understand the product and cultivate messaging strategies
- Work closely with our product team to share customer feedback, observations of customer challenges, and new ideas or features that would enhance the customer experience.
- Proactively seek knowledge of industry competitors and emerging trends to maintain a competitive advantage.
WHO YOU ARE
- Required: Experience working within the nonprofit fundraising industry, either through selling fundraising technology, fundraising services, donor management solutions, event fundraising platforms, peer-to-peer fundraising solutions, or direct experience working for a nonprofit fundraising organization.
- Deep understanding of nonprofit fundraising operations, donor engagement strategies, peer-to-peer fundraising, event fundraising, and the challenges nonprofit organizations face in driving revenue and supporter engagement.
- 4–7+ years of experience in SaaS sales with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Proven experience owning the full sales cycle, from discovery and qualification through negotiation, contracting, and close.
- Experience running MEDDICC/MEDDPICC sales motions, including qualification using metrics, economic buyers, decision criteria, decision processes, champion development, and competitive positioning.
- Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving executive decision-makers and cross-functional buying committees.
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline, including opportunity qualification, next-step management, CRM hygiene, and accurate forecasting.
- Experience selling solutions with annual contract values ranging from $20K–$150K+ ARR.
- Experience selling at conferences, industry events, and through outbound prospecting initiatives.
- Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for conferences, customer meetings, and industry events.
