POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Manager is an intermediate-level sales professional who independently manages a defined portfolio of B2B customers in an assigned vertical. This role goes beyond order-taking to proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and support strategic account planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and grow a portfolio of mid-size B2B accounts with a focus on revenue expansion and retention
- Proactively identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities across the account base
- Conduct regular business reviews with key contacts to understand project pipelines and upcoming needs
- Prepare detailed quotes, proposals, and presentations independently for standard and custom projects
- Negotiate pricing and terms within approved guidelines to close deals efficiently
- Develop account penetration plans and contribute to pipeline forecasting on a weekly and monthly basis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, production, and project management to deliver on client commitments
- Maintain accurate CRM records and leverage customer data to identify growth opportunities and support sales forecasting.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and problem resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, business development, or similar field.
- 2–4 years of B2B sales or account management experience; industrial, government/municipalities, or commercial product sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota
- Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
