Job Summary:
The Account Manager drives revenue growth and expands market share within an assigned territory by cultivating relationships with both new and existing flooring customers. Partnering closely with the Regional Sales Manager, the Account Manager develops and executes strategic sales plans to maximize profitability. This role requires maintaining product expertise to effectively showcase flooring lines, present technical features, and deliver exceptional service solutions.
Territory: This position is responsible for managing customer accounts throughout the greater Seattle metropolitan area, with a territory spanning from Woodinville to Puyallup.
Compensation: This position offers a competitive base salary, a commission structure, and a car allowance to support business travel within the assigned territory.

What you will be doing:
- Proactively schedule and conduct daily face-to-face appointments with new and existing customers to generate leads and achieve defined sales targets.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales calls, and project pipelines daily within the company's CRM.
- Continuously build knowledge of flooring product lines, features, and installation specifications through vendor relationships, training webinars, and technical literature.
- Partner with local Service Representatives to coordinate the delivery of product displays and regularly gather customer feedback to optimize showroom impact.
- Provide consistent performance updates, pipeline visibility, and market insights into sales management.
- Perform additional duties and support special projects as assigned to grow sales in assigned territory.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or construction management or related field preferred.
- Previous sales experience required and a combination of building materials knowledge and flooring installation highly desired.
- Flooring industry experience is required.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems.
- Valid driver’s license and a vehicle capable of carrying large representations of Company samples and products.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of driving in a vehicle and sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able tolift30 lbs. on occasion.
- Up to 50% travel to customer and company locations within assigned territory required.
