Position Summary: The Mary Lou Fraser Foundation for Families, Inc. seeks a thoughtful, proactive, detail-oriented and team-focused to successfully manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, and processing donations and grants. This position is responsible to ensure financial records are accurate and organized, prepare financial statements and reports, assist with audits, and maintain compliance with GAAP and donor restrictions. Strong organizational skills, proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks online) and spreadsheets. The Accounts Specialist will conduct key financial responsibilities by ensuring adherence to internal controls set by the Board of Directors and the Executive Director. The Mary Lou Fraser Foundation for Families, Inc. is a growing non-profit with complex finance functions, policies, and procedures in place to manage our $1million budget. The Accounting Specialist will help ensure a strong, agile, and efficient financial foundation for the Foundation. The Accounts Specialist will also manage the financial portions of grant administration (government and private) and reporting. The Accounting Specialist is a valuable member of Mary Lou Fraser Foundation for Families, Inc.’s finance team.
