The Account Specialist II partners closely with Producers, Account Managers, and internal service teams to support Construction Specialty Group accounts. This role plays a key part in delivering high‑quality service while developing deeper technical and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent, timely, and accurate service to internal and external clients
  • Receive and respond to client and prospect inquiries; assist with quoting coverages when applicable
  • Create and distribute certificates of insurance and other policy documentation
  • Follow up on incomplete applications and change requests
  • Support new business and renewal processes, including preparation of renewal materials
  • Assist with policy delivery and meet established turnaround expectations
  • Coordinate invoicing and support resolution of account discrepancies
  • Attend internal meetings, client meetings, and market discussions as needed
  • Manage deadlines and organize work to ensure accuracy and completion
  • Continue to build industry knowledge through training, CE, and expanded responsibilities
  • Support department projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; 2‑ or 4‑year degree preferred
  • Prior insurance industry experience preferred
  • At least one year of customer service experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook; basic PowerPoint)
