We are seeking a PART-TIME accountant to join our team, starting at 3 full days per week. The hours may increase as we grow our business.
Description
Job Duties
- Participate in monthly closing, including sales and purchases reports, COGS and inventory reports, AP reports, etc;
- Prepare accounting journals and perform vouchers posting, especially on inventory costing (cost of sales), production overheads and daily payment matters through ERP system;
- Prepare the monthly reporting packages to the Group in Hong Kong;
- Coordinate intercom reconciliation with intra-group companies in Hong Kong;
- Liaise with external parties for local statutory compliance, such as local audits, tax filings and related tax queries;
- Perform ad hoc assignments as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or above
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Solid experience with preparing month-end closing of inventory costing
- Experience with general ledger management, AP/AR and month-end/year-end close process
- Strong in Excel and other Microsoft Suite of applications
- Experience in production, wholesale, FMCG industries on costing is a plus
- Attention to detail, file maintenance, and good time management
- Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
