Job Description:

Nova Group Management is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare journal entries and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Support audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation: $40.00 per hour
