We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Analyst to join our Accounts Receivable Escrow team. This role supports daily escrow balancing, reconciliation, and financial analysis activities to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with high-volume data, investigating variances, and partnering across teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
This position will be primarily remote. Team member must be willing to attend in-person meetings in Scottsdale, Arizona as requested.
What You'll Do:
- Retrieve and validate reconciliation reports from multiple data sources to ensure all transactions are accurately captured and revenue is properly recorded
- Analyze transaction-level data to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, variances, and out-of-balance conditions
- Prepare journal entries and adjustments to correct discrepancies and support accurate financial reporting
- Assist with daily and periodic accounting processes, including exception handling and resolution
- Partner with internal teams to research and resolve operational and accounting issues
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen internal controls
- Support audit and SOX compliance activities by maintaining documentation, responding to audit requests, and ensuring processes align with internal control requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2–4 years of related Accounting or Financial Analysis experience, preferably in Accounts Receivable
- Works under general supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrates understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred (large data sets, formulas, analysis)
- Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and draw meaningful conclusions
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
