Accounting Intern
The accounting intern is responsible for performing miscellaneous accounting/administrative tasks as directed by the accounting supervisors, asst. controller, controller, CFO and executive team. Tasks may be focused on one specific area of the accounting and admin function for indefinite periods of time, i.e. may fill accounts payable or receivable roles as needed.

Work Environment
This job primarily operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, remote check deposit equipment, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. There may be days where accounting and admin procedures are performed on the production yard (inventory counts, etc.). There may be days where running errands around town is needed (dropping items off at FedEx, etc.).

· Must be able to walk comfortably up to 3 miles daily
· Required to push/pull and climb ladders greater than 20ft.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. Typical days and work hour windows are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays as needed (2 Saturdays per month at most. Currently at zero per month). However, as with most accounting positions, there may be times of low activity requiring less time and times of high activity, requiring time outside of those boundaries. Target is averaging 20 hours per week, flexibly spread throughout the week.
Travel
Travel is required to perform internal audit functions at our satellite locations. This travel is largely within the confines of a workday. Other travel outside of that is minimal.
