Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position is a salary exempt position that reports to IMCO's CFO. The basic functions of the Accounting Manager position are to oversee and manage general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, treasury management and taxes. The specific duties and responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):

Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, prepare variance analysis, perform account reconciliations, and generate financial reports.
Oversee day to day activities of Accounts Payable/Receivable functions and ensure accounts are properly maintained and payments/collections are made/received in a timely manner.
Assist CFO in development of Costing standards & reporting in current ERP system.
Responsible for treasury management activities to include credit card processing, ACH Payments and wire transfers (domestic & international).
Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, preparing/administering performance reviews and maintaining strong employee relationships.
Ensure financial transactions are recorded in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policy.
- Perform ad hoc analysis & projects as assigned by the CFO.
- Document and access current business practices and make recommendations for improvement.
- Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by the CFO.

Requirements / Competencies

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or equivalent work experience in Accounting)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3 years of experience in Manufacturing
Supervisory experience
Experience with Costing in a Manufacturing environment
Thorough knowledge of US GAAP
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
