Position Duties
- Performs a variety of accounting tasks along with administrative and clerical support, technical accounts processing, and financial recording duties.
- Maintains, analyzes, and reconciles projects.
- Creates and maintains financial databases, project spreadsheets, and project files.
- Processes accounts receivables in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensures the proper receipting of fees.
- Performs data entry.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, supplemented by college level course work in accounting, bookkeeping, computer science, or closely related field, and
- At least two (2) years of fiscal accounting experience, including automated accounting tools; or
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Clerical testing will be required during the interview process for selected candidates.
Successful candidates in this position will possess the following skills:
- Knowledge and application of accounting and budgetary principles to the maintenance of standard fiscal and accounting records.
- Proficiency in the use of Excel.
- Oral and written communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Data entry skills, computer literacy, and the ability to quickly learn appropriate customized software applications.

Eligibility for benefits begins on your date of hire.Full-time employees working a regular schedule of 30 or more hours per week are eligible for County benefits. Part-time, seasonal, and temporary employees are not eligible to participate in the County benefit plan.
