Job Description

A. Job Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions related to accounts payable activities. This role ensures accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, credit card transactions, and check runs while maintaining complete and organized financial records. The Accounts Payable Clerk supports cross-department operations by ensuring timely, compliant, and efficient financial transactions in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

A. Support the Finance and Human Resources departments through accurate transaction processing.

B. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.

C. Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and management.

D. Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

E. Promote Gregory Construction’s core values of Safety, Integrity, Communication, Excellence, and Determination.

E. Education and Experience

A. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.

B. Prior accounts payable, accounting clerk, or administrative finance experience preferred.

C. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.

D. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.

E. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
