The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining positive vendor relationships. This role offers a competitive hourly wage paid weekly and the opportunity to be part of a reputable automotive dealership. Hours are Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm, alternating Friday and Saturday 8 am - 5 pm.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests promptly and accurately
- Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain vendor files and relationships, responding to inquiries as needed
- Prepare and process weekly payroll for accounts payable
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing by providing reports and data
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial management activities
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounts payable or similar accounting role
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
